We have all read many books about Army & Regt history. I've enjoyed all of Richard Holmes books. This one I've not been able to put down. There is mention of the Royals back as far as 1764. Fascinating reading.

    I received this book for Christmas and am unable to put it down. After joining the Army at 15 and finishing finally in 2008 you think you know it all but this book proves just how little you do know. Fantastic read typical Richard Holmes.
