Will not surprise me if there will not be redundancies in civilian staff and then the work will be done by soldiers just to find them something to do until the next conflict.
Just bought my British Legion "BFG" Commemoration Medal for Germany (BAOR 11 as it was when I was there) NATO blue with a Black, Red & Yellow stripe down the center (on ebay) - Just in case it get's withdrawn for offending people !!
Maybe they will make more use of weekend training camps like Longmoor, D Lines in Pirbright, Otterburn et al. Those they can't fit in will probably be made redundant. This is not an Army friendly government we cost too much.
