I have just spoken to Hammersmith Hospital, Scouse is in John Humphrey Ward being fed loads of anti biotics. John Finney has told me that he has MRSA, however the nurse on the ward said he can be visited ant day between 2.00 and 8.00 PM. hoping to go Thurs Fri. Tony
PLEASE send my regards... tell him there is no way he can avoid handing over my long lost POSB book in June by dreaming up with fancy tricks like this. Seriously send best wishes please..Phil

ReplyDeleteAdrian Gillard and myself went to see Scouse on saturday, He is trying to be cheerfull however he is not well and in pain. Scouse is on anti biotics and what looks like a permanent blood transfusion as he is loosing blood. We gave him everyones regards he said thanks. I told him that as one of the most famous Royals of the 20th century he has a duty to recover and attend the next reunion and he wont have to put his hand in his pocket at the bar. I suggest that if anyone wishes to see him, and are able to so, go soon it will cheer him up. Tony
ReplyDeleteGreat Tony that you and Adrian visited him - we'd all love to go - but its a bit too far for some of us oldies.Bet you cheered him up a lot, many thanks.
