So sorry to hear that John passed on a good friend and a gentleman Our sympathies go to Christine and their family.Rest in peace my old mate.

    A great Royal - deepest condolances to his family.I can still see in my minds eye Lofty in those denims, much too short, when I arrived on the Tank park!

    So sad to hearof his death as i knew him pretty well,yes don you describe him very well along with his 4ft stride,
    he did like his driving tanks or cars,truck on Lofty.
