CHEVRONS

Has anyone got a picture of the brass chevrons we had in ADEN the ones with bubbles on ?

    Not sure what you mean "with bubbles on" Denis but as a similar point of interest, L/Cpl's only wore one brass chevron in Malaya!

    I'm sure we wore cloth chevrons on the wrist they served as a sweat band too

    Stan, The Chevron photo I have put up is as I say ,worn by myself in Aden in 1960. it was worn on the jacket sleeve on guard duty, and the cloth one was used at all other times, if you go into all photo's page 13 you will find Aden 1 photo of myself with Paddy Odwyer, you will see that I am wearing a brass chevron during the Governors escort
