Well done Derek, you finally managed to get it to come on the site, well done Jim also, I forgot about it being done and so I missed attending as you may know I only live about 8 miles away from Shifnal.
It was a real privilege to be able to represent the Royal Dragoons particularly as I had Sergeant Mealling's medal. Sadly no one from the Blues & Royals was able to attend, although Colonel Hamilton-Russell was asked but apparently he is not very well. It was a long trip from Norfolk to Shropshire but I am so glad I was able to attend.
