franks picture


Frank,
I have never managed to get 3 shots of any hawk.Hope you don't mind I am doing a digital photo course,so I had a bit of a practice with it.

I have never managed to get 3 pictures of any hawk they are usually away after the first shot.I hope you don't mind I am doing a photo course so I have used this one for some practice.

  2. I like it Bob , I've got a lot to learn with digi photos I still use my mamiya C33 and my canon
    R200 that I bought in Ipoh. and as for Don I told you it would make you go blind. frank

  6. I will get Matthew to send our photos of pergrin Flacons taken at The Falls of Clyde , we had help the rspb had a telescope there we watched them for about 3/4 hour .It was fabulous

  9. Had a couple of buzzards over the house today,wonderful flyers,they must have found a thermal as in the end they just disappeared from sight.Rain badly needed in Detmold,my effort witzh the hose seems to dry out as fast as I water!

  11. Cooled off a bit here - but still no rain - lawn is now "browned" off!Another weekend upon us,next one we are off to Munchen,Bayern,for a family ger together,will think of you all over an HB and Haxe!!!!!

  13. Yes Paddy they (red kites ) were almost wiped out though DDT in the '50s and have been reintroduced recently we had a pair in the Senne in the '70s but a retired Lt-col shot everything
    that came in front of his gun,his excuse was that it was to protect his Game birds.Frank

  14. Franok - don't think the CO will approve,when I attire myself in shorts,or Lederhosen in Bayern,the girls all come flocking - yes "FLOCKING" - and she hates a crowd.Still I'll think of you when munching a "haxe"with a stein of HB in the other hand!
