  2. Sure thing Fred albeit another sad day for all things HM Forces. The itinerary was as follows:

1000 - Guests Arrive, coffee and cakes served in the Maple Leaf
1100 - Flying Display at the Flight Line.
1145 - Flypast And Formal Salute
1200 - Memorial Service in Cheshire Hall
1300 - Luncheon in the Officers' Mess
    1430 - History Presentation on 76 (R) Squadron
1600 - Station History in the Station Memorial Room
1700 - Happy Hour in the Officers' Mess bar.

Fred, we were also offered over night accommodation in the Officers' mess (and or guests MQs) but had already booked into a nearby Hotel. There were people there from as far away as Canada and Australia. I also took my video camera so will post the Flypast later.

Terry also had a brother named Brian Hood, who also served in the RAF. Apparently, from information received, he was killed by terrorists in the UAE in 1993. The bomb was on an aircraft inside the hanger when it exploded and killed him. If anybody knows anything about this would they please contact us as the details we have are very sketchy.
