Dear Stan, Seeing has how there is no expiry date I suppose it could be claimed that the document is still valid, However this is a moot point cosidering that you would be dealing with HM's government. But as a pensioner consider the advantages of a possible re-enlistment, free clothes, free food, free accommadation, free travel with the occasional adventure thrown in, great mates and few worries. Whilst writing this a thought occured, that I just might re;apply myself, I'm sure that the zimmer frame could somehow be transported. Bryan (catalkoy)
As the saying goes “A contract is a contract" and I did accept Part III - presumably 'parent regiment' now being the Blues & Royals... so it is still valid! Perhaps I should seek out the services of a good "No win no fee" Solicitor and put in a claim for "LOSS OF FUTURE"? If a civilian typist can be awarded £484,000 for a doggy finger then I think the sky should be the limit here.
Thanks for all your replies and most interesting advice. However, I think I’ll just put the document back in the loft, for now anyway!
