  5. Looking at those pistols I take it there was a reason for them being worn cowboy like on the right side?

  6. Don. You are absolutely right about pistols worn on right hand side.In my day pistols were on L/hand side

  7. Think it was a case of "when the COs away the lads will play"But parade order was PISTOLS ON THE LEFT SIDE.Pistol drill must have been interesting though on the other side!!!!

    Oh I've been a no-good cowboy
    And joined an outlaw band
    Shot my way from Texas
    Right to the Rio Grande
All the ladies hearts I've broken
And the Banks I've broke-in too
    But now I've done
    With all of that
    My outlaw days are through.

    So Take my boots off
    When I die
Oh take my boots off when I die
When they hand me out my wings
I won't need those heavy things
    Yes,take my boots off
    When I die!

    Don
