marching through the city ! yes I remember it well. Once more into the breach my friends Indeed. But I see on the photo the Paras have been downgraded from Pegasus to a shetland Pony, still I 'spose the defence budget has been streched a bit. Frank
Should be a good day out ,specially as it looks as if the weather is going to stay fine for the rest of the week.We in Brum celibrate it with a concert at our Synphony Hall.Any how for all of you who manage to go have a great day out.
Oh dear Brian did I touch a nerve ! I do know I just like baiting people but I'll tell you story. I used to live not a 100 mtrs from the RAVC unit in Sennelager.and sometime in the 1980's I've forgotten the exact date the Paras were in Berlin and for some reason or other the vets were asked to look after Pegasus ? I think that was his name, the vet Col thought it would be a treat for the Pony to come and stay with my late sons little pony . they both enjoyed themselves for a week. sadly our pony died aged 30 plus in 2002 shortly after we brought him back with us to germany. wethe the masot is the same one , I dont know Frank
I do get "NARKED " too quickly,it happened once when I blew my top when some D/head called our Eagle a SPARRA!!!!!!!!!,BUDGIE I do not mind but a ruddy Sparra!NO WAY.
