Hi Derek, Well the place, is the Liberian Dessert, the year is1963, as for the lads, (Texas) Ranger was the troop Sgt, I think Dave (Ginger) Bennet, was troop Cpl, and me, as for the rest????. We landed, at AL-Alum Airport. pict up the old land Rovers,and drove to a place called Bombar, If anyone can help please let us know. All the best , Ted.

Ted, you are right, it was libya and paul middleton is between us,he was my room mate in episcopi cyprus and lost his life two days after arriving. 6th feb 1964 he is buried in the military cemetery dekhelia. Dave B
Hi Derek, Yes it was Tidworth,! and it was just Recce Troop, two or three L,A,D.and I think the M,T,O. We went there to do a exercise with the Green Jackets, It was just for three or four weeks All the best, Ted.
