Note: The Band always wore white plumes! This dates back to at least 1890 in the picture below. Only in the mid 1960's did it change to black.

    I remember this picture well I was in charge of the Guard of Honour we were stationed in Woolwich for the White City Tattoo in addition to Joes wedding we also did Captain Boyds
