ReplyDeleteI have been talking to a member of staff at the Premier Inn with regard to the people who were missing off the list that were given to me over the phone, it appeared that they had only given me the one's that were booked for the 19th June and so for those that had booked a day earlier they were not added, I am now pleased to say that everything is now in order and that the Premier Inn is now fully booked for the 19th June by members of the Royal Dragoons Reunion,
If there are any more members that would like to join us there are other places to book reasonably close by.

Unfortunately, I will not be in a position to attend the reunion;having Celiac disease makes eating away from home a 'no-no.' This affliction curtails socialising to a great degree, it must be the result of all those cookhouse meals.

ReplyDeleteToday I have phoned the Fradley Arms and spoken to the manager to confirm the booking of the function room on the 19th June 2010, I have arranged to phone him to set up a meeting to get the cost of the function room and buffet which will be during February, if there are any members that had not decided to join us at the beginning but now wish to do so would they please let me know as soon as possible so that when I have the meeting I will have a full head count, after this date I will not be able to accept anyone to join us at the reunion.

ReplyDeleteHave booked 3 Rooms for 18th-19th-20th June 2010 for a total of 6 pers. This includes Miriam and myself, should any of my guests drop out I will inform you so that you can offer the rooms to those that would like them. Should you require names and money for my guests I will pay. As for 2011 , I will be contacting Dougie Best who has been working on the event.

I have today been to the Fradley Arms to get the costings for the reunion,
ReplyDeleteWe have decided that the cost will be £7 per head this to be made up of £5 for Buffet plus £2 for the charity Combat Stress, may I ask members that will be attending to please post date their cheques for £7 per person the 1st of June, if anyone finds that they will not be able to attend to inform me before the 1st June so that their cheque can be ripped up, after this date no money will be able to be refunded. I will be Emailing my address to all members that are on the net and phone others,
