Remember one time ,we had set a a station up on top of the police station in Aden and I had to net in LOADS of FOOTSLOGERS in,and there is allways one!I realy came down on him as he was WAY out of net So being at that time "GODS gift to the radio and being SHQ!!,did I give him a right bo****Ing, after the skirmish (we won 17 ___0,Bodies So it ended WELL,then one day up at the same site a HUGE Cpl of a JOCK (we have all met him 6Ft b13 +built like the proverbial shit house) regiment came up to me ,"Hey you SQUIRT!! are you the B******D who give me grief the other day ??ME "Yess" him "THANKS you got me off all radio alerts",then he proceeds to pull out of NOWHERE bottles of booze (Which I rejected of course) LIAR! OK WE SUPPED What happened i say and he says he hated being on radio and would rather be killing WOGS!! we could call them that those days,we became great pals after that But a few years later in the RADFAN we met up for a while as we were both attached to 2para in RADFAN. poor old sod,he was one of many "MATES I lost out there" Extra to the message 2 para have just lost 15 HERO`S in the latest bloody messup.
