Will everyone that intends going to the service at the NMA on the 19th please let me know as it seems that we need to know the numbers for that day, as you may know that members of the Blues are going to be there this year to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the forming of the RHG as well as ourselves,
I am in touch with Ian Taylor from the North Staffs Branch and Capt Peter Thellusson who have taken on the position of organising the service for the 19th, it appears that Capt Thelluson has notified the NMA of the day because of the high ranking officers that will be at the service, it also appears that Ian has received some paperwork to be filled in, upon reading the papers it seems that there may be a charge made by the NMA, we are hoping that it will be owing to how many members will be attending on the day and that we will be within the limit where we will not be charged as it is not certain what the numbers need to be as of this moment in time, when I know more which I hope will be when I have met up with Ian and Capt Thelluson at the NMA within the next couple of weeks.

ReplyDeleteJohn I will be in attendance. My wife, Janet will be unable to attend . Due to the long snowy winter in the states the Massachusetts School system continues until late June this year , they call it making up snow days. Also my Friend John Priest & his wife Martha unable to attend due to both recovering from Surgery. That also means there will be one room available at the Premier Inn. I already have Room booked for myself.
