HYMNS FOR SUNSET by The Salvation Army Brass Band

  1. The person who wrote this peice of music was the bandmaster of a Salvation Army band Arthur Gullidge.They all volounteered to serve in Malaya as a whole band when the japs invaded. The whole Band was captured. They were put aboard a ship which left for Japan and on the way the ship was bombed and sunk. The whole band perished along with the other prisoners. Arthur wrote many peices of music.
