  5. It would seem that the food was not up to much and cold. Also some rude people made a noise during the speeches, and some even left during them.As its all hearsay who knows,a fuller report is on the other BBs with more comment.I'm still aiming to go to next years on 8th May,hope some of you will join me!

  6. Don count me out mate i sure would not attend.in the ROYALS the Backbone of the Regt was the SGTS MESS.. they sorted everthing out.the meals were fit for the QUEEN AND THE ENTERTAINMENT in the SGTS MESS was of a very high standard.the bar was never closed.
yes times have changed but im sure we would not run a MESS BAR like they do..i have only attended one since i left the army and that was a bloody disgrace.the SGTS MESS was run like a boys brigade and it took me 45 mins to get a drink.well i drank that and left never to return

  7. Meals in the Sgts Mess fit for ...a Queen?.Derek I think your mind is going awry. It was awful. Always was. In Fanara we even walked out on lunch in protest and ate in a nearby cafe.

  10. Cavalry Sunday Parade was good,it was the Laying of wreaths at the Blues and Royals Memorial that left a nasty taste, two assn members were left to place their wreaths AFTER the Parade was dismissed!!!!.See the coments on the other BBs.
