Nos. 1-3 Sqn LInes (2 Sqns per Block seperated by large entrance in middle). No.4. Possibly West Gate. However, ours was a small timber building and set a bit further back from the road. No.5. RHQ and Parade Ground (from area of 'C;Sqn.). There used to be Tennis Courts at this end. No.6. East Gate and Guardroom? If so. Barriers and Sentry Box out of sight on the left. I can remember Jim McKay used to give us 30 minutes quick time drill in FSMO when on Jankers. He always had a slight smile on his face. No.7. Sabre Sqns. hangers. With a view of 'C' Sqns door. Definitely Wesendorf. Best Barracks I ever lived in! alex(kev)
Brian, I certainly remember, Wesendorf in front of SQNblocks. I was therer in 2006 and it is now a big industrial estate but the bloke in the gatehouse let us look round and take some photos The main square and sqn blocks were still the same. We also visited barracks at Herford and they are still in use . but not as a regular barracks as we knew . Ihope this gets to right place as I found photos on an old er page of BB John
