Now let me think - currently got 3 hedgehogs,2 squirrels,1 robin,1 widowed ring dove,2 polecats, plus 3 blackbirds nesting in my bushes and 3 bluetits in my next boxes. So I think I have my share of pets, and who knows what may turn up in the garden tomorrow?Must remember to bring a tin of corned beef for john next month!

  4. Is that all you can bring Don, i think a nice juicy steak would go down better and a good pint of bitter.

  5. Sorry Denis I seem to have gone off the subject of pets, blame Don it's his fault talking corn beef.

  6. We have a hedgehog called 'Spikey', can't think why my wife called him that????? Could be a she! As grandparents we also take aboard an exotic tortoise called Comet, he lives under a lamp, a goldfish called Mavis and a very long black cat called Slinky, we have absolutely nothing we could call our own.....I think we might be in the same situation as Don!

  7. Come to think about it I must spend a fortune on food for "our" animals. My grandson had a goldfish but he got rid of it in the neighbours pond as he could'nt take it for walkies.Well maybe they've got steaks and beer in Lichfield? for the starving?
