Look up Kaiser Wilhelm 11 on youtube and you will hear the Kaisers Anthem which is the same as The British national Anthem. There are some very good footage of him as well.
Without seeming to slight any other Nation I always think the most stirring National Anthems are Britain,USA,France and Germany. Just my thoughts. ----- Don
PS - just back from visit to Frankfurt and my Son,weather more like the tropics,took a trip along the Rhine and had a meal overlooking it.Great time. ----- Don

France is very lucky.they could have been singing Deutchland Uber Alles ( not sure of the spelling Don)
