I can't see those underpant things - did anyone actually wear them - if so, 40 years on, could you tell me how you kept them on, or even how you got into them - you can buy similar things now, they're called baby diapers (throw away as well!)
Ah - Jimmy Stirling - brings back memories of days gone by.Jimmy could -iss it up with the best all night,and still be on parade the next morning in immaculate order.He taught me a few tricks about turnout and how to keep out of trouble.And those "underpant" things we certainly wore - could'nt afford any others,maybe not gone down with Paris Hilton,but they served their purpose - just!!!!!And those wooly "longjohns" certainly kept your love-life going when out in -20C and colder,and even then you needed a pin to find your dearest beloved!!!! ----- Don
