  3. You were never lost when Lofty Davies was leading the troop. Lofty was also a great Carpenter, he was always in demand by Duncan Boyd to make jumping fences for Gymkhana's

  4. Has'nt changed that much,the Army must have been glad when he retired as they could not make his demins long enough,he was always dressed for a "high tide"!

  7. His daughter Inge is going to help him get on here when she gets home.She works on the mines up North so only gets home periodically.

  11. Dad say's hello, mum and him are going to europe in a couple of weeks. Never know you might be able to catch up. They are seeing Maverick - Micheal Markwick. I will upload some photo's that dad would like to share over the next few days

  13. If you happen to be visiting Detmold make sure you drop in for a brattie and beer,and I can show Lofty where those hangers used to stand where he liked to show off his denims!!!(only few minutes walk from here)
