  3. Fred thanks for your tip about visiting Ephesus. Visited today and the temperature here in Turkey is still in the mid 20's. Walking around in shirt sleeve order, on the last day of November.

  4. Stop rubbing it in,those high temperatures are bad for us Europeans, its much healthier here at 6c by day and forcasted minus 5c tonight, besides we can warm ourselves up with a wee dram. But I spent a holiday in Turkey,Side, had great weather if a bit warm,I found the Turks very good hosts!Have a great holiday Ian!

  5. Don Keeping paying tax on your pension, because I'm working for the UK MOD in Turkey, until Jul 10. Beer £1 a pint. Cigs £1.25 for 20. T Bone steak in the American Commissary £2. Without rubbing it in it's still hot here. Regards Ian Munro

  6. Ian,
With the pound at its present low lucky they don't tax me as I'd be living on the Social Services(tax payer)When I work things out, taking into account ten years pension increases,my UK pension is now worth about half of what it would have been had the pound still be worth Euro1.70!
Still,I made my bed,now I have to lay in it!Use your factor 50 and don't eat too many of those health destroying "T" bone steaks!
