118, Nice Pic's, It was great to be part of the best Recce Troop ever. 1st Pic Facing Camera, Names I remember -Lofty Elmslie (Fingers), Tich West, Dave Grey, Tiger Lyons, Back to camera Left Notty Notridge & Dave Smith118.
Where were these pictures taken. I was in recce troop with Dave Grey, we both transferred from 2nd trp C sqn. I think they must have been taken after I went to the Para Sqn. Can anyone put a date to them
2nd photo outside HQ Sqn Block has me in civvies on the day I left the Regiment.I am stood next to John McEvoy who I shared a room with for ages.Seeing his daft old face again made my heart stop and my eyes wet. That photo must have been in March1968
Glad to see you remembered what a sylph like racing snake you were Pete. I was on Squadron runner, hence the broom in my hand. The last time I saw John he was RQMC in Lothian Barracks when I was on exercise with the TA.
Pixie These unfortunately are the only photos I have of the "Eyes and Ears" really regret not having more. Looking forward to seeing you at the reunion.
When did John McEvoy pass away, I was in the same Troop as John for awhile, Nice fellar was John, Does anyone know what happened to him. ------------------------------------------- Paddy Henchion
