BEWARE..... DOWNLOADER TROJAN

Today I had a message sent to me via MULTIPLY which when I opened it downloaded a nasty.... it was sent to me by ROXIFER, if you get this in your email account don't open it.. It purports to be a WINDOWS APPLICATION and is a security/virus scanner.

If you open it, it will try to force you to download the application. As soon as it starts it will take over the control of your system and it is impossible to get rid of the pop-ups etc.

The only way I managed to get rid of it was to go in to the REGEDIT facility and erase each and every key relating to the program. If you do not know what you are doing in REGEDIT don't play around in there as you will crash your system and have to reload your operating system

  5. You will now see that I have put up a note with reference to these scam Emails that I received from Multiply today, I sent a message to them raising our concerns and this was the message I got back from them. If anyone receives any of these Email's please forward to me the user ID and I will send them to Multiply Customer Service.
