Ha-ha, at last a face that I recognise, that of the instructor. He was my wireless instructor in January, 1953. The other instructor was, I believe, named Staley, can't now remember his rank but he was either in the Blues or the Life Guards. I have a picture of my wireless course class but I can't currently find it. Thank you for this and your other good photos.

No. Sorry. You are right. I didn't look closely enough,the Cpls are not the same person. Mine was Cpl Wragg KDG. Why do I not know the Royals guy? Thanks Graham.

When I was in,intake 58/11we got "BADGED"as soon as we passed out,then went on to our training courses,I see that the Lcp is a Royal.

We were "Badged" after we had completed all Basic Training, a period of about 12 weeks,. the l/cpl is UNWIN or URWIN
