Not sure where they got the uniforms but it was not RD.The jacket,trousers and boots look authentic but the plume and catouche belt are not genuine as the Royals never had a red cord on their belt,and they only had black plumes and white ones at one time,However thats movie world for you. Thanks for the picture Steve,it looks good anyway.
The Royal Dragoons only wore black plumes & the band had white. In addition, we had white metal helmets with brass/gilt fittings. If I had been asked to identify this regiment I would have said they were 3rd Dragoon Guards!
