if you didn't serve long enough to get an army pension then you will get it added to your OAP in the form of serfs. the pensions people are always slow since they have been put out to tender and run privately.I expect to hear from them any day now.do you know I once had a call from them where a woman tried hard to convince me to have my pension sent to me in Germany via city bank at exorbitant rates.rather than having it put into my u.k. a/c how she got my tel No is a mystery as I'm ex directory .frank
Hi Frank every thing is up for sale here now govermment pass it around each department they also sell to information to private companys at the drop of a hat john(jp)
John, the problem is I never give my tel No to anybody other than close friends etc. maybe I'll tell Iain Duncan-Smith next time I see him ,he is after all an old acquaintance from his army days
Same here seijahill only mine was a total of 11 years.... I'm now told those who never served and have made fewer contributions are now set to receive a higher pension than me! Ain't life just great?
Yes life is great lets hope the men & woman who are fighting & dying for this country in Afganistan & other places have no problems with there pensions!!!! Brian Hill.
I`m in the same boat asyourself & Stan, but with 9yrs service and this is the first time i`ve heard ofSerfs. The taxman soon tells me if I owe him money, but don`t own up to what they owe us.Ken
