1st Troop A Squadron The Royals Berlin 1949

Can any body name the rest ?!!

    Can't seem to blow up the picture anymore,so sorry can't help.And you must have been very happy with Skip as Troop Sgt!Will be in Berlin at the end of this month,anyone who you wish me to greet on your behalf?

    Actally I am wrong.Skip was my troop Sgt when I first joined.It was Sgt Phillips in Berlin nin 1949.

    no sorry I wasn't born yet, jim was only 10 so not hope I'm afraid , allthough if he could look he would probably know them he seemed to know everyone in the army

    This picture is also shown on Sept 4th 2010,Derek Leese named some and I added Cpl Gill,Couldn't manage them all

    Skip Edwards was my Troop Sgt. in B Sqn. in 1949. I remember him well, also his faithful dog "Jess", a champion rabbiter!

    Don, Make sure you haven’t ticked the box "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed" Right click on Internet Explorer Icon / properties / Advanced / it's down the bottom of the list. Or indeed any other programme that cleans your browsing history out when you close down.

    I've said this before. I always have trouble with this site. I reply to things but quite often it doesn't appear. Also if I go to Multiply from my E Mail the site appears but not the postings. It clogs up my E Mail wher I need to post things.

    I can recgognise all the faces but have forgotten the Names Don 190

    If you put the names as shown on the Photo above they would be starting with Lt Bucknall and then in a line as displayed. Sorry for the mess Don 190

    I had a couple of lads in our room in "C" Sqn. who went to "A" Sqn in Berlin, probably in spring of 1949. They were Ken Stanley, from Preston, and Reg Belcher from Liverpool area. Ken did a bit of boxing. Does anyone remember them? I don't know which Troop they were in as we didn't hear from any of the blokes who went to Berlin (or the Gulags?)
