Test for new site
Can members please check to see if they can get into new site, and if so let me have there comments, put http://johnie68.proboards.com you may have to go through the support page to do it, if so you will see the URL as above on there, click on it and it should take you to the Bulletin Board, I will go through it with Denis tonight to test it out, Good luck??

I notice that the URL is in blue on this message so use that to try looking at the new site but I do not think that you will be able to post on it yet but you can try.

John there is something strange going on trying to log onto the new board. Just tried to log-on and got a pop-up saying to enter ACTIVATION KEY ??

Can those members that have got onto the proBoards site please explain what they did to register as some of the members on here have been having a problem, I am going onto the Support board to try and find out the answers, I know that the CAPATCHA that has to be filled in can sometimes be difficult to read but it can be changed to one that you can copy.

Roger, same thing happened to me I downloaded four brand new Activation Key's and not one of them would work! I shut the computer down, came back minutes later and Hey Bingo the last key let me in and I've had no problems since.

Stan, the only thing I can think of that would cause this to happen is the response time of data being accepted by the server ??

If one copies and pastes the activation code into the original e-mail of approval then one should get straight in. If however you ask for a new code and place the code into this new page then that's where the problems begin.

To all, we are now in the process of sorting out the colours on the new board, so please give us time to get things done as I am having to liase with Chris who is helping me out as he has been trained in computers not like myself who has to pick it up as I go along.
