Hope for a speedy recovery. I am just recovering from throat cancer over the last few months and being fed through a tube, which hopefully will be removed soon. Not recommended. Have had chemo and radio therapy, been through hell and back. Had very happy memories of IPOH when lying in my hospital bed. Would love to hear from old friends - Nobby Evans
Yes - we are all rooting for you Nobby, one of my bowling friends had the same problem, but he made a complete recovery. We will all say a prayer for you. Best wishes ------- Don
I have been talking to Jim Aitch this afternoon to check on how he is getting on with his new hip, he tells me that he is doing well and that he is off his crutches but still has to use a walking stick and that he is now going on a long walk in the mornings and he is very pleased with how things are going.
I meet a lady nearly every time out on my hike.Three years ago I noticed she was limping, and she told me she had to have a hip replacement.Since then she has never looked back, the dog has lost weight trying to keep up with her,and she is never without a cheerful word. ------- Don
Best Wishes Jim ,hope all goes well for you tomorrow,
