Although I didn't join The Royals' LAD until early 1961 in Ipoh, I think I do recognise a few faces. The OC is Capt Mcqueen. Fourth from the right front row is Sgt Happs (Fred). Next in from him recognise the face, but can't remember the name. A few others look familiar, but can't put a name to them, hope someone else can. Good clear photo though and can tolerate some zooming. Walter

I don't know who the sgt is (bottom row 5th from right) but he his burnt into my memory cells. When we were in Tiddworth at the tank hanger, he was giving me guided hand signals which I relayed to the driver of a tank. If you remember the tanks were reversed towards the hanger wall at 45 degrees. As he was giving me hand signals he was not watching the wall, he was talking to somebody. He kept signalling to keep reversing, you can guess what happened, the barrel of the gun went through the wall. I ended up paying for the repair. I will never forgive that ARS***** it cost me a lot of money to have the wall repaired. They were the days when we were very overpaid £3.10s a week...
staff sgt willison,he was a bit of a dreamboat,i remember in germany he was doing an inspection on a champ and told the driver to put a lock on and he had his finger in the ball joint, result, one finger end gone
