Welcome to the BB Neil, I see that you have found a few old comrades, if you have any problems with the site just shout up and we will help you out if it is possible.
Hi! Neil,Your name rang a bell straight away but it took me a while to cobble up a face to put to it, but I did and I remember you well. It's great to hear from someone after such a long time. I don't remember the 'pork chop' but the WVS girls I remember very well. (I didn't get very far with mine.Still) How about filling us in on your time since we met. Paddy
Paddy, It is good that we can get old mates back into contact again even if it is such a long time since you were serving together, you will both have a lot of catching up to do now.
Exactly what the BB is all about Johnie. Things have gone a bit awry at the moment, but Niel I can read your last input and I find it interesting to know how our past mates spent thier lives. For myself I stayed in for 24 years and thereafter followed a number of lifestyles, some good and some not so good until I was able to retire happily and content.I hope we'll hear more from you in the future. By the way uou may or may not know that there are some other oldies on site, and on the other one. Derek you know about. therei s also Don Remfrey and Bob whom you might remember; he was R/Sigs in Wolfenbuttle. All the best for now Paddy
And Don will pipe up here to let you know Edith and I are celebrating our 57th wedding anniversary today, still going strong, taking the lady out for dinner tonight,a Castle 25KM away, will no doubt eat too much and wash it all down with too much liquid. Will show off my blazer with our badge on,will no doubt get pestered with "what is that?"!
Thanks lads,Terry I just enjoyed the 5 course meal with a couple of glasses of wine. That my wits were still with me is proven by the fact that driving home I passed a 70kph sign, then a "deer crossing" sign,my angel was watching over me as I slowed right down, and suddenly, out of the twilight, loomed a herd of deer crossing the road.I just managed to stop as the last bounded over my bonnet. So when I got home I made up for my "dry spell" in the Castle! ----- Don
welcome NEIL i remember you mind its a long time ago there are a few members on the BB who were on parade.

A bit late but, hope you had a splendid meal and not too much of the hard stuff! That was a long way to drive whilst under the influence.
