I think she approached Panorama and blew the whistle to them and they took the matter up on the documentary. I think she was a good nurse with her patients interests at heart and she told the truth. Hospitals and Care Homes hate whistle blowers. She did sign the confidentiality act but I reckon she felt that strongly she could not just let it all go on....You have to admire people like her, willing to sacrifice her career, throwing away all her training and years of grafting to try and put a stop to this.....yet another situation which makes me fume!!!! I am wondering if that had been a Doctor, would things be different and would he/she have been struck off??? Signed up petition anyway....I'll get off my soapboax now, wife says I am getting a real 'grumpy old man'...Derek R.
I understand her to be an undercover worker for Panorama, but your posting gives no links or details.
