AFV Eagle Transfer




Another item from Bandrat’s collection is this AFV regimental decal – I have 2 as per facing collar dogs. I cannot remember where I got these but I am sure it was when I was in Detmold 1966-1968. On the back it is printed Gale & Polden Ltd & ‘Soak transfer in tepid water for about a minute and slide from paper’.

    Hi, As I served with Bill Baines in the band it would be a pleasure to do some research for his aunty. There was a Blues & Royals Band Association get-together a few weeks ago at Knightsbridge & one of the chaps telephoned Billy in Spain & I managed to have a quick chat with him. I had not spoken to him for a number of years. Ref my collection - I have over 200 single medals or groups of medals to the Royal Dragoons including groups to 5 commanding officers', including Brigadier K.F. Timbrell. Plus the badges, buttons, photos, ephemera, militaria, etc - it would be very difficult to list all of them. I will add of few items each week so members can see what I have. Regards Jim
