We went for a walk today around our garden to finalise a new design, rather reminiscent william barnes uncle & aunt featured in his poem " leafy boughs a-swaying " & it was about this I was going to tell you, but I had an acident and I get no sympathy here so I'll tell you about my woes ! tongue-in-cheek. my son laid a path in the garden, and as usual never got around to finishing it and left an edge proud ,it wasn't a problem until to-day when he parked his car at the end of the path so we had to go around it to get to the path. yep you guessed it I didn't lift my feet high enough & tripped , There was this 100 kg rotund Orangutan flying though the air in ever increasing momentum then I landed in a very thorny rose bush to the right my left ear in a Barbary bush the whole of my left side hit the concrete sharp edged kerb and the pavour path,it has been reported that a 9.7 on the richter scale has been recorded for ost westfalen lippe today. a quick look at my wounds and I decided they were serious,so Memsahib was detail to get me some antiseptic creme to help dress the wounds, but half way though the great hall.AKA as the coach house she had forgotten what she was going to do & went to check on the washing machine from there to hang out the washing then to her chicken....in the meantime I was in the bathroom and lost at least 20 ltrs of blood,its the blood thinning tabs I'm on, on doing a proper exam of my ills I found that I had Broken my arm in at least 4 places. fractured my kneecap ad broken all of my ribs in my upper ribcage,I had just finished putting on the plaster of paris casts when she remembered what she should of been doing for me and came in to the bath and asked "Did you say you wanted a cup of tea ?

I didn't die but almost did, . days after the "trip of a lifetime " I had another stroke so off I went with blues & twos to the stroke unit after three days went into a normal ward 2 days later I noticed that my hand hurt ,the one that was affected by the stroke, doc sent me to x ray there it was found that I had broken a bone in my hand and that I also had a piece of metal in my thumb,it been there 50 years ,I 've always been slow on the uptake.anyhow my left arm is in plaster my arms are black & blue from the dozens of blood samples they took putting me on a new blood thiner. but I'm back home now & I've been told that as I'm r/handed I can get back on to

this new blood thinner I'm on (called marcumar ) is causing me to pee blood so I'm off to the urological Doc tomorrow he will shove that bloody camera thing up me jacksey again,problem is I'm beginning to like it .still I 'spose it will go with my limp left hand I got from the stroke

thanks John now that the blood count is down they have reduced the amount I take, but I went to the uro doc who gave me some tabs,but he is an old Hippie and I had to discuss the stuttgart riots & why the Polizei went over the top & whether I thought that the protest movement would win.at the same time he had that thing that looks like a woman's hair curler stick dressed in a large condom up me jacksey. that had me worried.
