RIP MARK BLACK
Sadly, I must report the death of Mark Black who served in The Royals in the early 1960s. He is pictured as ADC to Brig Tony Pepys, Colonel of The Royals, in the Cuneo picture of the Parade marching past the Lord Mayor on the occasion of the Regiment being granted the Freedom of the City of London on 22 Oct 1963. Unfortunately, I do not have access to other details of his service career and information has kindly been provided by Colonel Duncan Boyd.
Mark Black passed away Peacefully, having been poorly since November at home in St. Andrews, on Monday 23rd August 2010, A private cremation followed by a Service of Thanksgiving will be held on Thursday 2nd September, in Ceres Parish Church, CUPAR,Fife KY15 5NQ at 3.30 p.m. No flowers please but donations in lieu may be made at the church for Marie Curie and Ceres Parish Church.

THE BLUES AND ROYALS REGIMENTAL COLLECT
O Lord Jesus Christ who by the Holy Apostle has called us to put on the armour of God and to take the sword of the spirit, give thy grace we pray thee, to the Blues and Royals that we may fight manfully under thy banner against all evil, and waiting on thee to renew our strength, may mount up with wings as eagles, in thy name, who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. NIGEL REEDS BOOK
To all my friends and acquaintances whom I have meet over the years. Finally my book "Beware of the Cuckoo"
is completed.
This is a story of one man's battle to create a Children's Hospice while having to deal with endless grief through loss of
his only daughter to Cystic Fibrosis, several family members and friends which in turn lead to depression.
It shows that most barriers can be overcome to achieve a dream as long as one has the passion and purpose in life.
It is available through our web site at www.walkyourowntalk.com
We are making a $5.00 per book donation to children's hospice in four countries as stated in the web site.
So for example if you live in England the donation will be given to The Little Bridge House
Enjoy the web site and of course we would appreciate your patronage and support.
Please spread the word to all your families, friends and work mates.
Regards and Best Wishes to all of you
Nigel and Jocelyn Reed.

Dear Mr Atkins
I am writing to thank you and the Ex Veterans, on behalf of Combat Stress, for your very kind donation of the television.
It was a delight to meet and welcome you to Audley Court for the presentation of the television on Thursday 29 July 2010.
The gymnasium area, because of its increasing popularity with our clients, is gradually being updated with new equipment, and the television will be placed within this area. This facility provides an additional option to assist in refocusing thoughts away from the harrowing experiences and traumas endured during their services career, in helping them to gain relief from various chronic, complex and long term problems.
We appreciate your kind gesture and thoughts, and once again many thanks for choosing to support our charity and assisting us to progress.
With very best wishes Yours sincerely
Alison Dhatt
