  21. I tried contacting the Medway Cemeteries near where Dave Howell lived to no avail as they wanted me to pay for them to search the records. ( they do not have them on computer). I also tried to locate people with his wifes maden name but no help at all.Last time I saw him was on the Island in 1981/82. He was driving a truck at the time. Welcome Totty Flude.

  30. Hi Nigel
I shared a room with Stan and got on very well with him, a good bloke. I know he did 10 years on Dartmoor and the last I heard of him was in the 70's I think. The IRA busted one of their members out of Brixton Prison, there were two other people in his cell (they both took the opportunity to escape with him) and Stan was one, the papers described his profession as a taxi driver. Have you heard anything of Bernie Ringrose? Please give Pete Why my best wishes when you see him again.

Tot and Tony we have got approval from Whitehall so all systems go,great to be Roger Ray did some checking on Bernie and he still lives in Crawley area but spends a lot of time in India.Apparently he picked albert finney up one night with two of his mates carried him into a top restaurant and aid for everything because you more than likely know Albert is now in a wheel chair, i liked Stan i remember when we did Asqn bar he took the sgt mess carpets while they were cleaning them, on the night before we opened Cliff crabbe noticed and told him to take them back.Pete and Ray are visiting Pumper Fuller as well.
