  3. Sorry no info on Funeral for Joe Chapman. Dont think anyone from Royals will attend after being called "Shite Hawks" by him,and I am not to sure about anyone from the Blues and Royals being there either. Some of the guys from the "Blues forum" even shunned him recently and kicked him out of their exclusive membership. I made my peace with him a few weeks ago but heard nothing more.

  7. I understand he had an amputation that gave him a lot of pain so that didn,t help much however it was the way he refered to the Royals that I objected to.I still have the e-mail he sent me and DHW banned him because of it.If you were able to look back at his postings on the now defunct BB you would have noticed that his aggression started well before his medical problems.Anyway he has gone now and out of pain so thats a blessing to his family.

  12. It would be nice and only decent if someone did turn out for the Man's Funeral from the Mob he was with, if not for him at least for his family !!they may feel a bit let down that no-one felt at least some kind of loss for a comrade!!whatever problem's he had in his life he was still a comrade at one time or another??.It's surely not his surviving family's fault for the way the man turn out in his later year's??

  14. Like most of you I thought that Joe was a bit of a pain in the rear with some of the nasty horrible things he said but now I feel horrible for some of the things I thought of him for his actions.  Although I always thought there was something wrong in his life to make him carry on that way I didn't realise he was so unwell.  Guess I should have been a bit more sensitive towards his hostility.  Hope he finds peace now and we must all remember that years ago he must have been a much nicer person then what he became in his last few years.....RIP

  16. The funeral of Joe will be at  Poole Crematorium on Friday 20th at 2-30 PM . I understand from Roma, his wife that she has been in touch with John Triggs of the Dorset Squadron. Also some of his friends from the Sergeants mess of the Inns of Court will also be attending RIP.                                                    Pat Ex BLUE
